The Midyear Report
It's been more than 6 months since I last posted here (my bad).
Anyway, after welcoming 2011, we're now in the middle of it. Time really does fly fast. Ever since I started work for MSL, my online work was pushed in the back burner (which is really a good thing). I am now on my way to my 7th month (I started work officially on December 2010). So far, am doing good. Can't really complain. Thus far, MSL saw four employees go. The first one was Joseph (he found himself spread too thin. Told him he should focus on what he should have been doing in the first place). Then a new writer came in, her name was Isey. She didn't last for a week! She felt she didn't belong. Then Lawrence was let go (creative differences). Then Erwin had to resign and seek greener pastures in Singapore. He's now successful finding work there. Finally, May was let go. Details on that to follow.
Despite that, there were additions in the office: Mario, Ali, Lyndsay and another lady will be joining us soon.

My beloved Uncle Ruben passed away on March 28. Good thing Papa's back to be with his brother. It was perhaps Fate that my cousin, Ate Lee, is also in town. They were brought back from abroad to be with my uncle's family to morally support them.
Papa was also one of the candidates for the Ombudsman post which was left vacant by Merceditas Gutierrez. Here's hoping he'll be even considered. God-willing, he can be an instrument of change. If he doesn't get this post, his plan is to go back to the states with my stepmom.

I haven't been singing with the TWT for so long. I guess they're all set already since they have regular singers already. Perhaps it's time for me to go back to the choir? Hmmmmm...

I also started hanging out with my VS friends. But since VS was phased out, we're now playing HeroClix! Yay! More on that next time.
I guess these are the updates...
